The Sailing Foundation, under the direction of Douglas Fryer and through the creative talents of former Assistant Secretary Angela Keller-Visser, has created a special scholarship fund to encourage and support aspiring professional sailing photographers.
The Sailing Foundation scholarship committee will review applications and prepare recommendations for eligibility based on the quality of the application, displayed interest in maritime photography and financial need. The scholarship will be applied toward tuition at the Brooks Institute of Photography, Santa Barbara, California, Kelly痴 alma mater.
The Foundation is now in the process of raising scholarship funds. We all loved Kelly and miss her terribly; her legacy can live on through this opportunity, in honor of her enduring spirit. Contributions may be made to: The Sailing Foundation, Kelly O誰eil Memorial Scholarship Fund, P O Box 4213, Tumwater, WA 98501.
